Bank of England – Business Update

GWA are delighted to welcome the Bank of England Agent for North East England, Mauricio Armellini, to hear the Bank’s insights on the UK and global economy.

We hope you can take advantage of the chance to hear from Mauricio and take the opportunity to ask any questions you may have. Mauricio will discuss recent economic and financial developments and the Bank of England’s outlook in relation to future UK growth.
Who should attend?
Anyone running a business that is affected by what happens to interest rates, inflation, and the performance of the UK economy. You will be able to ask questions during the seminar, but we would recommend you send these to us in advance to ensure they are addressed.
Mauricio Armellini
Mauricio has an excellent understanding of the North East as well as the UK economy as a whole having moved to the region from his native Uruguay in 2005. Having completed his PhD studies in economics at Durham University he joined the Government Economic Service leading various teams in the Department for Work and Pension. He then worked as Chief Economist for the North East Local Enterprise Partnership until his appointment as Bank of England’s Agent for the North East in September 2014.
