The meaning of the Italian word Arrivederci is ‘goodbye, until we meet again’. Since Greaves West & Ayre opened our doors in 1918 we have said goodbye to some long standing members of the team. We started 2025 by saying a fond farewell to two key members of GWA -

Farewell…

This year sees the departure of two of our longest standing and most well respected Partners, Alan Patterson, and Ewan Millar. Ewan and Alan retire on 31 March this year, with Alan remaining as a consultant until 31 July.

Trish Melia Retires

We wish Trish Melia all the best in her retirement. Having joined GWA in 1973, Trish will be starting her well-deserved retirement in June, 50 years on from when she left school to start her first job.
