Wealth Administrator

We are looking to recruit a Wealth Administrator to work at our office in Berwick upon Tweed.

Job Type: Full time, 37 hours per week. Permanent

We will consider full and part-time applicants/job shares for this role.

The Role

As a Wealth Administrator within our businesses, you will have the following responsibilities:

  • You will work within our Wealth Management team supporting Financial Advisors and Paraplanners by using the XPlan back-office system to process and report client transactions and needs
  • Develop a strong understanding of investment, insurance and pension processes, including familiarity with FCA requirements, relevant legislation and compliance requirements
  • Execute instructions and process ongoing business transactions accurately, covering tasks as instructed by Financial Advisors and Partners within the firm
  • Maintain up to date documentation and operating procedures for all processes
  • Liaise with clients on their needs and be able to deal with their queries supporting the Financial Advisor and Paraplanner Teams in providing a quality service
  • Consult with providers to ensure that the service needs are met professionally, timeously and accurately
  • Upload relevant information to providers` and firms` portals ensuring the data input is accurately recorded.

In addition, you will receive ongoing mentoring and you will require to study towards Chartered Institute of Securities and Investments L3 Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) qualification, ensuring you gain both the professional and practical skills to deliver quality client support throughout your career.

The Person

If you have meticulous attention to detail, good team and communication skills, confidence, approachability, strong time management skills, and are prepared to work hard, we would love to hear from you.

We would prefer someone with experience in Financial Services, able to operate within a busy transaction processing environment. Microsoft Office skills are essential.

We would require you to train on the job and study alongside this in an agreed timeline to become qualified whilst demonstrating your desire to meet the skills required.

Package

  • Your salary is competitive with an annual review
  • 32 days annual leave (includes public holidays). Increases to 35 days with long service plus a TOIL and core working flexibility policy

We cover the costs of any study package, the first sitting of each exam and travel expenses.
