Office Cleaner

We are looking to recruit an experienced Cleaner to work at our office in Berwick upon Tweed

Job Type: Part time, Minimum 15 hours per week (17:30 to 20:30hrs per day). Permanent

The Role

We are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Office Cleaner to maintain high standards of cleanliness and hygiene in our workplace. You will ensure our offices remain a welcoming, safe, and pleasant environment for staff and Clients.

Key Responsibilities

• Clean, sanitise, and tidy offices, meeting rooms, kitchens, and toilets.
• Empty waste bins and recycling containers.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and dust surfaces.
• Replenish toiletries and cleaning supplies as required.
• Report any maintenance issues or hazards.
• Follow all health and safety guidelines.

• Attention to Detail – Able to spot and address areas needing extra care.
• Time Management – Works efficiently to complete tasks within allocated hours.
• Reliability – Consistently punctual and dependable.
• Health & Safety Awareness – Understands cleaning product safety and safe working practices.
• Self-Motivation – Works effectively without direct supervision.
• Communication Skills – Can follow instructions and report issues clearly.
• Physical Stamina – Able to undertake manual cleaning tasks.

Essential Requirements

• Previous cleaning experience (office or similar environment) preferred but not essential – training will be provided.
• Sustained eligibility to work in the UK.
• A positive attitude and commitment to maintaining high cleaning standards.
