Striking Gold with Cloud Accounting Services

Would you like to be able to connect your up-to-date financial information with your staff and business advisers anytime, anywhere and from any place? Then perhaps using Cloud Technology for your accounts is the answer. This means that you run your accounts entirely online without the need for offline storage or software applications. A rise in the use of laptops, smart phones and rapid developments in technology has made this easier. You now have more choices than ever before in how to run your business.

Just over two years ago we began to look into the benefits of Cloud Accounting for our clients and the options available. At that time we shortlisted two providers that fulfilled our criteria in terms of reputation, security, level of service, ease of use and value for money.

One of those providers was Xero, a global company with nearly 400,000 customers. After a programme of staff training we achieved Xero accreditation in February 2013. Our partnership with Xero continued to develop and we were awarded the status of Silver Partner in March 2014. Now we are delighted to announce that we have been made an Accredited Gold Partner.
So what does our accreditation mean for you, the client? It reflects our extensive training in, and knowledge of Xero and all its features. It also indicates a good working relationship with our local Xero account manager. In other words, we know what we are talking about and are in a position to provide informed, reliable advice and ongoing support.

Partner Colin Frame says “We have seen an increasing interest in Cloud Accounting since we first started supporting Xero. With the improved availability of superfast broadband we fully expect that interest to grow further and we will be ready to support our clients wherever they may be. Greaves West & Ayre is committed to providing Quality Service and Quality Advice to all of its clients and this internet based software is one of a variety of supporting roles that we offer.”

If the flexibility of running your business on-the-go without the need to backup data and upgrade software appeals, then please get in touch.

We will be running a series of seminars on Cloud Accounting in the spring. For further details please keep an eye on the events page of our website or email to be added to the invitation list.
