As a result of our continued business success, we wish to develop our team and are looking to recruit an experienced Independent Financial Adviser.

The Role: We are looking for motivated professionals to join our growing wealth management division. This is a great opportunity to become a member of a friendly but ambitious team. The role can be based at any of our office locations in Berwick-upon-Tweed, Haddington or County Durham, where our sister company Three Counties Ltd is located.

You will be responsible for providing both initial and ongoing advice on all aspects of clients’ wealth planning whilst contributing to the growth and profitability of the team. Client advice will include investments, pensions, inheritance tax, trust planning and protection.

This role will be supported by a team of experienced paraplanners and admin staff.

The Candidate: You will ideally already hold the CII L6 Chartered qualification. If you are an experienced adviser with a CII L4 qualification and can show a passion to progress your career with the ambition to attain CII L6, we would also encourage you to apply.

You must hold a Statement of Professional Standing (SPS) and have proven ongoing competency in your present or most recent role.

Other qualities we look for are a strong willingness to both support clients’ needs and exceed their expectations in order to build long-term relationships. You should be able to work independently, have precise numeracy and literacy skills along with excellent IT skills and be able to demonstrate a broad background of financial planning experience.
