Accounts Technician/Assistant

Due to expansion, we are looking for an experienced Accounts Technician to join our Accounts department in our Haddington office.

Responsibilities include assisting Partners with the preparation of Sole Trader, Partnership and Ltd Company Accounts for a wide range of businesses, and liaising directly with clients.

The ideal candidate will likely have previous experience of working in a similar role and the following skills and attributes would be desirable:

  • a high level of numeracy
  • good IT skills with experience of Accounts production software (Xero, Sage, Farmplan, Quickbooks and Microsoft Excel would all be advantageous)
  • good verbal and written communication skills
  • the ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team
  • good time management with the ability to work to deadlines and show flexibility
